Ringo Starr

Ringo Starr, MBE, born on July the 7th, 1940, better known by his stage name Ringo Starr, is a former drummer for The Beatles. He narrated the 1st and 2nd series of the television series. He was the first narrator, and the first actor to play Mr. Conductor in Shining Time Station.

• Ringo voiced Thomas in the 2009 Children in Need charity single.
• Ringo appeared on "Aspel & Company" in 1988 where he was asked by Aspel about Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends.
