By morning the mist had cleared and Henry's crew finds out tat a viaduct on their line woud have collapsed if they went over it. Later that day the driver spoke to Henry and told him the viaduct was fixed and they cold try again tonight, Henry really didn't want to. That night he heard the owl hoot again, the freight cars laugh at Henry for being spooked, Henry said he wasn't scared but he really was. As they approached the same area they saw the amber lamp again, then the gates close and the signal turn red - all by themself! This time Henry doesn't stop, a landslide has blocked the line ahead and the cars fall into the ravine. Suddenly Henry's driver spots something coming toward him its Old Baily the fogmam who scolds them about not listening to him when he tried to warn them.
