Summary[]

One night Henry was taking a goods train to the station by the lake.  Edward tells Henry whenever an owl hoots a mist rolls in and when the mist is out a ghost is too, Henry snorts and sets off with his goods train.  When Henry reaches the old line he sees an amber colored lamp which meens "proceed with caution".  After seeing a red signal, closed crossing gates, a light in a station, and a coat discarded on a tree branch, Henry's crew decides to turn back.  By morning the mist had cleared and Henry's crew finds out tat a viaduct on their line woud have collapsed if they went over it.  Later that day the driver spoke to Henry and told him the viaduct was fixed and they cold try again tonight, Henry really didn't want to.  That night he heard the owl hoot again, the freight cars laugh at Henry for being spooked, Henry said he wasn't scared but he really was.  As they approached the same area they saw the amber lamp again, then the gates close and the signal turn red - all by themself!  This time Henry doesn't stop, a landslide has blocked the line ahead and the cars fall into the ravine.  Suddenly Henry's driver spots something coming toward him its Old Baily the fogmam who scolds them about not listening to him when he tried to warn them.  As a present to thank Old Baily, Sir Topham Hatt letts him operate the station.
